A|s we walked along the track to the Raptor / Crane watchpoint, we picked up a very mobile tit flock: mostly Long-tails, Blue Tits and Goldcrests, but in with them (and seen well two or three times) was a Yellow-browed Warbler: most welcome!
The watchpoint proved fairly unproductive, with just a few Redwings, Bullfinches and Marsh Harriers, so we decided to carry on to Ludham for refreshments and a visit to St Benet's Abbey. No Owls (nor any sign of Prunella and Tim!) so last move was to Cromer seafront. Lots of Herring Gulls (some looking quite interesting at first glance) but certainly no sign of the 1W Caspian that appears on Josh Jones' blog. We did find a Shag sat on a buoy, however, which was a welcome addition to the daylist.
