Buckenham Marsh (again!)

Today being the last decent weather for a while, I took a walk in the sunshine out to the river at Buckenham Marsh. Lots of Linnets and Reed Buntings among the brambles, as well as at least three Cetti's Warblers. The floods held a dozen Avocets and fifty or so mixed duck: Shelduck, Teal, Shoveler, Wigeon and Mallard, but no Garganey yet. I caught a glimpse of a Great White Egret before it flew off towards Claxton, as well as a few Marsh Harriers and a smart Red Kite.

I had to wait half an hour for a professional dog walker to clear off (three large dogs, all off the lead!) before walking along to the mill: just a few Redshank and Ruff...
