A great way to close the festivities! The North Norfolk Railway

Linda and I joined Sue and Peter for a thoroughly enjoyable afternoon and evening, traveling by rail from Salhouse to Sheringham, then to Holt and back on the 'Christmas Special' train. The engine and carriages were festooned with coloured lights, as was the trackside: suitable music and commentary (and the fact we were seated in the bar coach!) made for a memorable evening. Other highlights included tea and cakes in the Whelk Coppers and a drink (and chips!) in the Robin Hood, where one customer seemed to have had a bit of a wait! Throughout the evening we watched Venus getting ever-closer to the Moon - a spectacular sight!
