Having a spare few minutes, I drove the short distance to Buckenham, braving the very strong wind to walk to the river and back. Not much about to be honest, but a single Ruff was in fine plumage: Avocets and Little Egrets were everywhere!
A check of the horse paddocks on the back road to Strumpshaw added Mistle Thrush to the year list: an acrobatic Coal Tit was good to see.
