The weather forecast wasn't great anywhere, but we thought we'd give Cley a bash... Very little to report: the first Sedge Warblers of the year, a distant Greenshank, half a dozen Little Ringed Plovers and a strangely marked Meadow (?) Pipit. We dodged the rain for coffee and decided to take a look at the Ranworth Ospreys: as we were leaving three Great Egrets flew past.
By the time we reached Ranworth the rain had stopped, but it was still pretty murky. Although we watched the Ospreys fishing and returning to their nest, they were far too distant for photography: an Otter was much more obliging! Willow Warbler was new for the year..
