By my reckoning I only 'need' Masked and Long-tailed Shrikes to complete the set of UK possibles. So far I've managed:
Great Grey Shrike (Lots, including 3 together at Strumpshaw))
Steppe Grey Shrike (Burnham Norton)
Woodchat (Seven, various locations including Holme and Winterton)
Lesser Grey Shrike (Three: Potter Heigham, Horsey, Winterton)
Red-backed Shrike (Many, including two together at Horsey)
Isabelline / Daurian Shrike (Three: Horsey, Stiffkey, Beeston)
Brown Shrike (Stiffkey)
Turkestan Shrike (Dunwich)
(The photos below are in order)
Would I leave the county to catch up with the two missing species? Possibly, if we're talking East Anglia! I'm not much of a twitcher these days!
