1000 posts!

It would have been good to have marked this milestone with a really special bird, but Linda & I had too much to do at home to spend a day in the field... But, since this is predominantly a patch blog, it's probably more fitting that the headline birds were a lovely pair of Jays and the Redwing flock.

Thanks to those of you (200+ a day!) who look at Birds of the Heath: let's hope for some more exciting wildlife experiences for all of us in 2016!
