Beautiful crescent Moon and Comet Catalina

To 'Cote Brasserie' in Norwich with Linda for my birthday supper: absolutely first class!

The sky was so clear tonight that - even though it's fading rapidly - it was possible to find Catalina quite easily with binoculars: it's just above and to the west of Merak, the last star in the Big Dipper's handle!

Lovely crescent Moon: too close to the warmth of the roof for sharp photography, but still some impressive crater chains.
