Covid: this is where the best laid plans go astray....

I live in a very low C-19 area of rural Norfolk. Linda and I have been scrupulous about avoiding hazardous situations: we even postponed a trip to Brighton for Mum-in-Law's 90th birthday. Unfortunately our village has a very successful and popular primary school, which attracts an intake from miles around. So: today two children have been given a preliminary positive diagnosis. The school has been closed: all the kids have been sent back to their homes in other surrounding villages. Some of their parents stopped at the village store on the way to pick their children up, some on the way home. See the problem? All it takes is a single person to bring the virus into a small community and months of self-denial, isolation, home deliveries and so on count for nothing...
