Essex Gem & Mineral Show

Another successful show at Collier Row: probably the tenth or so we've done over the years. As always, superbly organised and well-attended, with some incredible displays of rocks, minerals and fossils.

We met lots of old friends and made several new ones: Sandra, a dealer from Cambridge we've known for years, is retiring and I was able to add to my dinosaur tooth collection from her half price sale. These included several Carcharadontosaurus teeth, as well as Diplodocus, Plesiosaur, Pterosaur and a species of raptor. (Carcharadontosaurus was a T-rex  type carnivore that lived in North Africa until the early Cretaceous)
