Bird survey and talks at Hemblington Church

The weather was glorious for today's Friends of Hemblington Church conservation day: a decent audience apopeared for the talks and many of them also took part in the survey. Not so many species, but two Great Spotted Woodpeckers and eight Buzzards were noteworthy.

Garth Coupland had everyone entranced with his absorbing discussion of the reptiles and amphibians he has encountered around the world and the risks he has taken to find them!
