Linda and I had to pick up some bird food from Latham's at Potter Heigham, so we decided to drive the short distance west to the gas storage depot that overlooks Ludham Airfield. From here we could see a reasonable group of wild swans: mostly Whoopers, but with half a dozen or so Bewick's among the mixed herd.
On the way home, we took the back road through Pedham, where an unharvested field of millet had attracted a huge flock of several hundred Linnets
