With just a week left in the season, Linda and I drove to the Museum of the Broads in Stalham for our annual kingfisher expedition. When we first arrived the sky was a bit gloomy and our delightful hosts Valerie, David & Ken were not particularly optimistic...
Being the only passengers, we were treated to an extended trip, as far as Wayford Bridge and, when the evening Sun appeared, we were fortunate enough to see at least half a dozen Kingfishers, both male and female. Other birds included several Buzzards and a Hobby. As last year: a terrific experience and great value!
