Just Norman and me today: I headed north west to Thornham, where after just a short walk we enjoyed terrific views of a juvenile Red-backed Shrike, posing in the early-morning sunlight. We moved along the coast to Titchwell, where we eventually managed distant views of yesterday's Pectoral Sandpiper as well as a few other odds and ends.
Since Linda had asked me to deliver some of her wax wraps to Cley VC, we headed east for tea and scones, followed by a walk to Bishop's and then along the East Bank. Plenty of the expected waders - Ruff, Blackwits, Lapwings - but they were constantly being spooked by a Red Kite and a female Marsh Harrier. (Highlight was a gorgeous little Water Vole - pictures tomorrow!)
