The joys of feeding!

As I've said on here before: Linda (Mrs B!) spends large amounts of money on stocking our 15 hanging bird feeders and 2 floor stations. This, of course, has brought some unusual birds into the garden over the years, famously including two pairs of Turtle Doves for the past four...

Nothing rare yet this winter, just large numbers of garden and hedgerow birds, including some delightful Long-tailed Tits, dozens of Greenfinches & House Sparrows and several Song Thrushes.

As I type, I can see 17 species on or around the feeders, including the first Redwing in the garden this winter!

Brambling and Redpoll any day, surely?!
