Gloomy skies in Cookham

Our last drive around the Thames Valley took us to Cookham (of Stanley Spencer fame!) where we stopped for a cup of tea. Red Kites were everywhere, but the sky was grey and misty, so there was no chance of decent photos.

Driving back to Maidenhead we crossed over little stream that ran through a small wood and across a water meadow. Right by the stone bridge there were two beautiful Little Egrets perched in trees..
