Glaucous Gull at the Norfolk Showground

Linda and I made our annual visit to the Easter Antiques & Collectors Fair at the Showground this morning, dodging the showers and finding the odd bargain on what few stalls were there!

As we were negotiating for a ceramic hare, a 1st winter Glaucous Gull flew over with an adult Herring Gull. They were headed north-east, so I imagine the Glaucous was the one that's been hanging around Earlham Marsh and the waterworks.

I didn't have a camera for once, but you'll get the idea from this montage from North Norfolk earlier in the year. (And no: this is not an April Fool's Day gag!)
