Peregrines at the Cathedral and Buzzards on the Heath!

It's been a very 'raptory' day! Linda and I had business in Norwich, so after lunch we decided to take a look at the Cathedral Peregrines. This, I believe, is the last week of the H&OT watchpoint, but the birds will hang around for ages yet, so if you haven't visited, you really should! All three young Peregrines are often viewable perched on the spire or flying around: today there were just two (The male is the paler bird on the right.) The adult male sat on the nest tray all the time we were there: the female and third young bird were around the other side in the shade!

Later, we had a several family groups of Buzzards soaring over the garden - always a delight!
