'Yesterday' yesterday!

Our great friends Sue and Peter organised an evening out in Norwich to see the film 'Yesterday' at Cinema City. Having heard the basic plot details on TV, I was already anticipating that it would be an enjoyable film: and so it proved! Even Ed Sheeran's contributions were entertaining and well-acted and the music was superb. Added frisson came from the fact that much of the action takes place in East Anglia, including the Cliff Hotel in Gorleston, just a hundred yards from the hotel I used to own in the 80's! Even more surprising (to local birders) was the fact that Buckenham Station House was the location for the recording studio where Jack Malik recorded his first album!
