These days it's hard to go anywhere on the north coast without bumping into a Great White Egret: Little Egrets are, of course, ubiquitous, but Cattle Egrets are a more recent arrival! Today Linda and I saw our first Great White at Wells North Point (admittedly some distance away!) and followed this up with seven Cattle Egrets (and a Spoonbill!) among a herd of cattle at Burnham Norton. Again, these were a little far away - as were the pair of Whinchats. Still: all good to see, as was the Arctic Skua we picked out in the gloom at Sheringham seafront.
A little closer was a charming Little Stint at Titchwell, feeding with a flock of Dunlin. Most unexpected find of the day was a flock of Teal on the beach at Sheringham!
