In the event we didn't see an Osprey, but enjoyed a Green Sandpiper and fly-by Great White Egret at Tower Hide and a mother and three cub otters at Reception. Although somewhat distant, the family stayed long enough for plenty of visitors to enjoy the show! A distant Hobby and a few Buzzards and Marshies completed the roll call.

Otterly delightful morning at Strumpshaw Fen.
As usual, I met Brian at the Fen for a walk round, in hope of a return visit by yesterday's Osprey (He'd left too early, I'd arrived too late!)
