Most afternoons, as the sky begins to grow dusky, flocks of Pink-footed Geese fly over the Heath, heading south-east towards Buckenham or Breydon. It would be interesting to know where they spend the day: have they come right across Norfolk from the north west? Or have they flown inland from the east coast, before reorientating southwards. I suppose the only way to find out would be with a radar set!
