This weekend was the much-anticipated annual open garden at Claire and Terry's delightful one-time pub at the end of the village. As always there was an incredible display of plants, with many for sale: high-quality books, too! Pimms and real ale, or, if you preferred, tea and cakes were available, with all profits shared between Heathlands and Hemblington Church.
Great to meet plenty of friends old and new: in the evening Joyce and Andrew (two emigres from Suffolk!) joined Sue, Peter, Linda and me for drinks, followed by a wonderful supper at the 'Tamarind'.
