Cambridge Institute of Astronomy

A wonderful day at the Institute - as always - thanks to our hosts Dr Carolin Crawford and Matt (I think!) Nixon.

We were given our usual excellent position and (although the sunny weather had resulted in a somewhat reduced attendance) had plenty of visitors during the afternoon. Among these was French meteoriticist Michel Lecompte, who, with his charming wife, was in Cambridge to visit their student daughter. I had the pleasure to propose Michel for the IMCA many years ago and have sold him a few decent specimens!

Despite the lingering virus, I talked myself hoarse and gave away lots of meteorites to potential young astronomers.
