Super Moon!

Last night's full Moon was another 'Super Moon': on this occasion it actually lived up to the name, being a third brighter and 14% larger than average.

A few people have asked what settings I use to photograph the Moon with my Pentax DSLR: I generally use the AV (aperture priority) setting, select 400 or 800 ISO, then wind the backlight right back. I process the images using Irfanview (free download!) This software allows me to increase the contrast and reduce 'gamma' and colour saturation levels. Below are a few shots with / without processing.

Give it a try!
