Kingfisher in the centre of Norwich

Today  I treated myself to a haircut at John Oliver's in Norwich: my first trip outside in a fortnight! We were a little early, so we went down one of the several alleyways leading off Elm Hill and took a walk by the Wensum. Almost the first thing we saw was the cerulean and apricot flash of a Kingfisher: it flew back and forth a few times before perching briefly on the pipework of the landing stage. Linda took a single photograph with her mobile phone...

What a wonderful piece of evidence of the cleanliness of this once-grimy city-centre river.
