There haven't been many wildlife posts on here recently, for the simple reason that I've been housebound with a dreadful cold: hopefully I'm beginning to get over it. Today we had a delightful daytime visitor to the garden: one of the three Hedgehogs that appear on our trail cameras every night.
This little fellow spent half an hour rooting around for invertebrates on the lawn: what a privilege it is to be visited by these increasingly scarce creatures. While the Hedgehog was wombling about on the lawn, 'our' handsome male Buzzard was wheeling overhead, calling continually.
