A trip to Lewes was abruptly curtailed by a sudden snow-storm: although it didn't settle, it was pretty intense for a couple of hours. A couple of Red Kites have been hanging around the cottage (along with the ever-present Buzzards) and, for the first time this visit, a Brown Hare crossed the meadow. Other all-day visitors include all the crows (apart from the one we'd most enjoy seeing) and numerous pheasants and partridges.
