The Hunter and the Goddess of the Moon!

Last night the Moon continued to move through the constellation of Taurus towards most people's favourite star-group: Orion. The seven stars that make up the Great Hunter are bright enough that the Moon doesn't outshine them, while to the east the brightest star of all - Sirius - hung just above the southern horizon. Over the next few nights the Moon will move over Orion and into Gemini, 'the Twins'. Worth a look - Orion will soon disappear from our northern skies until the Autumn.
