Meanwhile: the Sun has plenty of spots at the moment. These, as I'm sure you know, are cooler areas of the photosphere, caused by concentrations of the Sun's magnetic field that inhibit convection currents. The ones in the photos below are all bigger than our Earth!
Remember: you absolutely MUSTN'T look directly at the Sun with bins, a camera or even your naked eyes - I use a special telescope and lens filters.
