Raveningham Hall Sculpture trail

As promised! Just a few of the pieces of artwork from yesterday's visit to Raveningham Hall. Some have immediate popular appeal, others are quite challenging and still others are more about the message they are intended to convey: these are some of the ones we enjoyed most.

After our visit we carried on to Beccles, a delightful little market town on the Norfolk-Suffolk border. We'd booked a late lunch which we enjoyed on the patio by the river. The food and service were perfect: even better, thanks to the Chancellor's initiative to help the recovery of the restaurant trade, our bill (including drinks!) was just £40!
