As we try to do a couple of times a year, Linda and I collected Mum-in-Law Mary for a short stay in a delightful farm cottage at Findon. On the way we stopped at Devil's Dyke, where we were entertained by a family of Stonechats, and at Goldstone Park to add the curious Gold Stone to my megalith file!
A stroll around the Brighton car boot was quite productive, before moving on for lunch at a garden centre near Wiston. After checking in to the cottage, we were delighted to see a close-range Hummingbird Hawkmoth on a petunia bed just by the french doors - a first for Mary! Lots of House Martins over the farm still...
