Linda and I made our traditional appearance at the annual astronomers' get together on Kelling Heath. Just as we joined the NDR a flock of five Common Cranes flew east low overhead: a great start. Kites and Buzzards were everywhere as we headed north, but a Merlin over the bonnet was a surprise.
The Astronomy meeting was great fun: lots of chat with old friends from all over the UK and a number of invitations to give a talk. Both captive bred Red Squirrels and wild Greys proved photogenic!
