No, not the USAF F22, but the birds of prey on the Heath! I'd kind of always thought that large raptors only hunted when the air warmed up a bit: on dull days I expect to see them around midday. Today, however, as I was doing my 'unlocking the Church' duty, there were at least four Buzzards and five Red Kites patrolling the fields to the east: this was at 07.15, with a total overcast, light drizzle and a temperature of ten degrees! (There was also a Marsh Harrier and a Kestrel, but I didn't manage any photos of them!)
