Christmas walk!

Linda's brother Barry and his artist partner Judy are staying with us over Christmas: like us they enjoy a walk, so after breakfast we drove through the frosty lanes to a deserted Horsey, parking at the start of the Nelson's Head road.

As we walked down to the dunes we came across a few Stonechats and other expected tweets, but no raptors or Cranes to be seen. At the beach there was a full compliment of seal wardens in evidence: on previous experience these lovely people were much-needed to control those members of the public who don't seem to realise that seals are large, fairly aggressive carnivores! Many pups had hauled right up onto the path, so there was no need to go down to the beach anyway...

Back home to relax and (in my case) cook Christmas dinner
