A glance at RBA this afternoon revealed that DL had found a couple of good patch birds at Buckenham: a Little Stint and a Whinchat. I don't actually 'need' either of these for my patch, but I thought I'd pop out anyway.
In fact (apart from two brief glimpses of a highly probable Whinchat a third of the way to the wind pump) I didn't manage conclusive views of either. I did see a Wheatear, ten Ruff and a single Snipe, as well as dozens of Brown and Migrant Hawkers...
A pair of Little Grebes were nice to encounter in a weedy dyke near the railway.
