A garden full of thrushes and the first dinner party of the season!

Despite the constant drizzle and low cloud, it still feels Christmassy here on the Heath: our sycamore and cotoneaster trees are full of Redwings and Fieldfares, and the table is laid ready for tonight's dinner. This may seem a trifle early, but there's a lot of courses (and sauces!) to prepare, so I always get the table ready well in advance!
