Our pair of Buzzards (including the beautiful pale male) were up early exploring the thermals this morning. Almost immediately a group of gulls - mostly Lesser Black-backeds, but with a few Black-headeds too - began mobbing them. Strange - perhaps some might say reckless - behaviour: I'm surprised the Buzzards tolerate it!
