Beautiful first quarter Moon....

Almost directly south at the moment (21.30) the clear sky and good 'seeing' allowed me to grab a few detailed shots with my 300mm prime lens. The large, dark-floored crater is Plato: look at the incredible isolated mountain peaks to the south! The large, complex crater near the south pole is, of course, Clavius.
