As some of you may know, the Rendlesham Forest Incident is probably the UK's best-known and most compelling UFO encounter. I shan't bore you with the details now: if you'd like to learn more, there's a fair bit on my paranormal website, Chilling Tales UK
I've lectured on the subject several times (twice with Deputy Base Commander Colonel Charles Halt) and was involved in the production of John Hanson's definitive book on the incident, which contains several of our photos from the forest.
Every now and again a group of us revisit Woodbridge and explore the forest by day and by night: we've been doing this for around twelve years! The core group consists of Linda and me, with old friends Paul, Jason and Jason's two delightful children, Thomas and Rosie. Now they're all grown up, Rosie is accompanied by her partner Tom: you couldn't wish for better companions for a nighttime stroll through this undeniably 'atmospheric' piece of woodland.
If you did glance at Chilling Tales, you'll have seen some of the strange images that we occasionally obtain with our armoury of FLIR cameras, DSLRs, nightscopes etc etc. This weekend was no difference: Rosie in particular got some amazing results, which I'll post when she forwards them.
