The International Space Station and Orion

This morning at 5.45 the ISS drifted through Orion, passing just south of 'his' belt. Other satellites were passing over all the time: another faint one can be seen in the image of the 'Seven Sisters' - the Pleiades. Mars is still a brilliant red object, rivalling Aldebaran and Betelgeux: yet another satellite can be seen passing north of the Red Planet

Tomorrow at 5.00am is the last chance to see the ISS for a while: worth a look if you're up!
