In Broadland, when the skies clear at this time of the year the 'seeing' is often fantastic: as a keen amateur astronomer I sometimes have to remind myself how fortunate I am to live where the Milky Way is always visible and where, as is the case tonight, three planets and the Moon can dominate the night sky without the glare of street and house lights...
