Bearded Tits: Strumpshaw is the place to be!

On our way back from seeing the Cattle Egret at Buckenham (photos later!) Linda and I stopped off at the Fen so Lin could enjoy the Bearded Tits. The birds didn't disappoint: a beautiful pair posed in the sunlight right by the Sandy Path, allowing great views - and photographs! On the way back to the car we saw another group of perhaps ten birds, more or less where the new wooden 'sleepers' have been installed.

So if you'd like to see Beardies really 'up close and personal', Strumpshaw is the place at the moment: try to arrive at 9.00 at the latest!
