Last night was beautifully clear for once, and Jupiter and Saturn hung close together above the southern horizon: you could see four of Jupiter's moons with binoculars (Io, Ganymede, Calisto and Europa) as well as Saturn's largest moon, Titan. Fingers crossed for clear skies on the 21st, when the two giant planets will almost touch!
The fourth photo is Venus, peeping over next door's garage at dawn, yesterday morning!
