December bird count at Hemblington Church: a raptor-fest!

After a less than productive first twenty minutes, the temperature rose and birds started to appear. Not too many passerines, but a good variety of raptors and three or four delightful Brown Hares. There were at least five Common Buzzards in a kettle, while Pink-footed Goose, Marsh Harrier and Red Kite were all noteworthy.
