I've just had some wonderful slices cut for me: probably the best chondrites I've ever offered for sale. Stony meteorites are classified:
1) According to the size and abundance of small, spherical inclusions called chondrules. The larger and more obvious, the lower the number (to a minimum value of 3)
2) By the amount of metal they contain, from low (L) to high (H)
These five slices would seem to be L3 or L4: low metal with large, obvious chondrules. Such meteorites are incredibly ancient (around 4.5 billion years) probably preceding the formation of the planets.
