Six Bewick's Browsing!

(As in: not 'a-swimming'!) Linda and I made our usual weekly run to Potter Heigham for sacks of bird nuts and suet and continued home around the 'loop' through Hickling and Horsey. Not too much about, but a group of six Bewick Swans opposite Walnut Farm were noteworthy, as was a vast flock (400+) of Greylags in fields past the wind pump. I wonder if any of these were genuine wild birds from the north? None looked dark enough, but you never know!

Earlier a large skein of Pinkfeet passed over the house: even with the windows closed, their yelping drowned out the radio!
