When to see the International Space Station

The table below gives the dates and times when the ISS will pass over the UK during the next eight days. As I'm sure many of you will know, magnitude is the astronomical term for brightness: the lower the number, the brighter the object. Hence tonight's transit, with a magnitude of -3.8, is the brightest of the sequence. With clear skies, the ISS can be a spectacular object: the picture below was taken last night through a hazy layer of cloud...
