I came across a short clip of Apollo Astronaut Dr Mitchell describing how bright the stars were when viewed from space. On several occasions he confirmed this to me and stated that they were just as bright when seen from the lunar surface. This, of course, is in direct contradiction to Apollo 11 commander Neil Armstrong's oft-repeated comments: click HERE.
