Last night the sky was beautifully clear at dusk, so I set up my telescope and DSLR to photograph the Moon and, hopefully, the conjunction of Venus & Mars.
I was distracted almost immediately by loud snufflings from the flower beds which was obviously the sound of two Hedgehogs enjoying a romantic interlude! Linda came out to join me in watching the little creatures' fascinating courtship: a third 'hog had his supper a couple of feet away!
